Garden Living Indoors
If your home has little outdoor space or you live in a climate that's too hot or too cold, here are some ideas for Indoor Garden Living.
- Paint a mural on your wall or above your fireplace of trees, wildlife, or flowers.
- Cut tree or plant branches and put inside. You don't need to spend any money at all to enjoy nature inside.
- If you're lucky enough to have fruit trees, leave some leaves on the fruit. The leaves add natural greenery to your fruit bowl.
- Select landscape paintings with far horizons. Instead of many little pictures, opt for a larger painting that will inspire daydreaming of a far away tropical paradise or a restful forest.
- When shopping for fabrics or accessories, choose patterns based on nature instead of geometric or abstract patterns.
